HV Women in Business Quarterly Conversations:
Turn Your Passion into a Profit
You LOVE what you do.
There are days when you pinch yourself over how lucky you are to make a difference, and have fun doing it. It feels incredible.
You also really really WANT your business to be successful.
So much so that you worry sometimes if you’re ever going to make enough money to do this full-time, all the time.
That’s what this first-ever Quarterly Conversation is about — turning all of that passion you have into an income you can live on.
We’re inviting local business celeb and a gal you’d most like to have a beer with after a long day, Sarah Womer of Zero to Go. She was recently featured in Hudson Valley Magazine as One to Watch in 2016 and interviewed on Tin Shingle’s Weekly Tune-up about how she crowdfunded $20,000 to launch her composting project in Beacon.
Now she’s joining us for a one-of-kind evening: part conversation, part working session.
Hosted by Lauree Ostrofsky, founder of HV Women in Business and Chief Hugger at Simply Leap, we’ll dig into Sarah’s story to figure out how she makes her business work, the sweat she puts in, and how she gathered a team nearly without a budget to make her dream come true.
Next we’ll turn the tables to figure out how to take her lessons learned and apply them to where you are with your business right now. You’ll brainstorm with each other, share ideas and come away with a plan you can implement immediately.
2016 is when you turn a Real Profit from the passion you feel about your business.
