Meet our Founder!

Lauree Ostrofsky founded Hudson Valley Women in Business (HVWiB) in December 2014 as a welcoming space for seasoned & aspiring business owners, and all women and people of gender minorities, inclusive of race, class, and ability, to lean on and learn from one another.

She knows how exciting and daunting it can be to work for yourself.

As an Author, Business Coach & Hugger at Simply Leap, LLC, she helps women leap into meaningful careers and businesses, move past roadblocks, and be scared & do it anyway.
